The project envisages provision of piped water for every toilet. For this, Water tanks are being built for each cluster. The number of tanks depends on the number of HHs.
A pre-project survey revealed that none of the HHs is connected with piped water supply. The water used for drinking is the same as used for other activities. There's no separate water filtration technique/unit integrated for drinking purposes.
At present, the sources of sources of water hand pumps or wells which provide water shared basis among 20-25HHs approx.
