Donation Policy

Society for Action in Community Health (SACH) is instituting a donation refund policy to ensure fair and transparent processing of requests for refund of donations made through our payment gateway portal are becoming more frequent. SACH requests all donors to exercise due care and diligence while making donations. The Society may also request more documents or information and donors are expected to co-operate in this regard. The Society also recognizes that a donation may be made erroneously, or donors may change their mind.

All contributions are Income Tax Exempt under 12A and 12AA to the extent of 50% under section 80-G.

We may also seek proper explanation and reason from the user. Also, it will require further verification of the user and need documents of proof as well as for donation.

We recognise the importance of donations and want to ensure we establish appropriate principles of transparency and fairness about the management of refunds.

However, Society is not obliged to make refund of donations and may at its discretion, decline any request for refund of donations, particularly if a tax exemption certificate (u/s 80G) been issued.

The section 80 G receipt shall be generated online and sent to the Email ID of the donor as mentioned in the donation form.

The receipt will be generated in PDF format and will be issued after receiving confirmation of Payment.

Refund Policy

If you would like your donation to SACH to be refunded,

If an error is made in donating or if the donor changes their mind, we will honour all requests for refund that are made in writing within 15 (fifteen) days of the date of donations made. The written refund request should include the details of the initial transaction including date, donation amount, donor’s name, ID, tax invoice number and the nature of the error.

If made the donation online, electronically or through other banking transactions like cheque, NEFT/RTGS, D. D. etc., the written request stating reason for requesting refund must be sent to the address stated below or can be sent by email and must contain all the above said details pertaining to the donation.

Donations are normally non-refundable, but if you have made an error in making your donation to our organization, please contact us. Refunds are returned using the original method of payment. If you made your donation by credit card, your refund will be credited to that same credit card account.

The SACH governing body will fully examine all requests for refund and endeavour to ensure that genuine errors are rectified. However, after 15days the society is under no obligation to give refunds.
