Hunger doesn't exist in isolation. It creates complex web of circumstances, particularly in urban slums,leading to educational deprivation, insufficient hours of employment owing to serious illness and ultimately loss of a job among other factors. We are helping people fight acute poverty conditions like hunger and malnutrition through a Meal Packaging Programme in many cities. The initiative has resulted in significant reduction in malnutrition through supply of nutrition supplements.

Highly nutritious dry uncooked food materials like rice, dal, dehydrated vegetables and a flavoring mix of 23 essential vitamins and minerals are packaged and distributed to the affected families. Each packet provides a reasonable serving for six and is easy to transport and store. Meal packaging events are held in Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai & Delhi in which a total of more than 500,000 meals have been packaged so far.
