The project seeks to look beyond the mere construction of toilets and engage the community with intervention on safe sanitation and hygiene practices. This includes interventions pertaining to awareness on personal hygiene, proper use of sanitation units and water and health hazards of open defecation. Water Sanitation Committees (WSC) are being up set up in all the villages.
