Educational Interventions

Educational intervention has been carried out with focus on both hardware and software components. Hardware component includes construction activities including pavers, safety aids, building repair and painting work, electricity wirings installation, furniture and fixtures as per requirements identified.

Software components include the following:

• Sensitization and activation of School Managing Committees
• Training of school managing committee, particularly on WASH component
• Training of teachers on WASH, Teaching & Learning methods
• Training and refreshers on WASH to school children

22 schools have benefited through these interventions. 109 teachers have actively supported and involved themselves in carrying out the activities. 46 teachers have been trained on WASH and Teaching & Learning Methods.
